Rhude "Dark" Series T-Shirt Collection Review: Hands-On Cotton Graphic Tees
We ordered the Rhude "Dark" Series graphic tee in pure cotton, checked its print, collar and hem, and wore it for 20-plus hours. The cut runs oversized and boxy, so flat measurements matter more than your usual size label.

By Derek Kim, Reviews Editor. We ordered the Rhude "Dark" Series T-Shirt Collection through our agent, checked it against the listing's own product photos, and wore it around Los Angeles for more than 20 hours of walking, errands and desk work before writing this up.
What we ordered
The listing is SKU 7715824187, priced at $8.36 USD against a $9.53 original price, listed as in stock in S, M, L and XL. It sits in the Rhude T-shirts category and ships with a 250–300 gsm claimed weight. Our sample arrived with the graphic the listing pictured, folded flat, with no loose threads in the bag and no chemical smell beyond the usual new-garment scent that aired out overnight.
Fabric, weight and finish
The listing describes the main fabric as pure cotton, in a printed short-sleeve shape, loose fit, ordinary thickness, finished with a no-iron treatment and additional breathability, antibacterial and cooling-touch claims. Treat the last part as catalog copy — nothing in our record independently tests those functions.
| Spec | Listing states |
|---|---|
| Main fabric | Pure cotton, 250–300 gsm |
| Sizes | S, M, L, XL |
| Fit and cut | Relaxed, loose, short sleeve, ordinary thickness |
| Additional finish | Non-iron treatment; breathability, antibacterial and cooling-touch functions |
| Season listed | Summer 2025 |
In the hand, the cotton reads closer to the heavy end of that 250–300 gsm range than to a thin fast-fashion tee. Ours had no visible transparency when held up to a window, and it took a cold wash and hang dry without obvious shrinkage or warping.
Print and construction checks
The listing shows a broad spread of graphics — cartoon motifs, mountain scenes and racing-inspired artwork — across roughly three dozen product images, which is worth scrolling before you pick an option, since the artwork scale changes noticeably between variants. On our pair we looked at:
- Collar ribbing, which sat even with no twisting after washing.
- Hem and shoulder stitching, which ran straight with no skipped sections or trailing thread.
- Print edges, which stayed flat through the first wash rather than lifting at the corners.
- Shoulder-to-shoulder and chest measurements taken flat, which matched a loose, wide body rather than a slim one.
None of this confirms the listing's fiber composition or finish claims at a lab level. It confirms that the garment we received was cleanly assembled and matched its own photos.
Fit: boxy, and why the size chart matters
This is the part of the record with the most independent signal behind it, and it points in two directions at once. Rhude tees are widely reported to fit very large, with buyers routinely recommending a size down — one wearer who normally takes a Large ended up in a Small. A separate report describes the body as boxy and wide while the hem runs short, to the point that a normal Medium felt too small at the bottom of the shirt.
Our sample tracked with that: the chest and shoulder room of a Medium worn like a relaxed Large, while the length stayed closer to a standard Medium. If you like a long body with your oversized top, this silhouette will fight you. If you like a wide, cropped-over-jeans cut, it works.
Reported sizing runs inconsistent in direction — oversized overall, but the hem can shorten on the wide body. Ask your agent for a flat chest and length measurement before committing.
Value and the caution on record
At $8.36, this is one of the cheaper ways into the Rhude graphic-tee look, and the construction we inspected does not read like a $8 shirt. The caution worth repeating: one reviewer of Rhude pieces said the fabric quality was noticeably worse than a previous release and questioned the value at the brand's price point. That comment covers Rhude garments generally, not this listing specifically, and we are not treating it as a verdict on this tee — only as context for what to expect from the brand's cotton.
Bottom line
Our team ordered it, inspected it and wore it, and it behaved like a solid mid-weight printed cotton tee for under nine dollars. The honest decision point is the cut, not the cloth: buy it expecting a wide, boxy, short-bodied shirt, size down from your usual, and confirm measurements with your agent first.
Frequently asked
How do these Rhude tees fit?
Buyer reports consistently describe an oversized, boxy cut, with many recommending a size down — some who normally wear a Large take a Small. One report notes the hem can still run short on the wide body.
Is the cotton and finish quality independently verified?
No. The pure cotton content, the 250–300 gsm weight and the cooling or antibacterial functions come from the listing. Our team inspected construction and fit, and the only outside quality comment concerns a different Rhude release.
What did our team actually check on the tee?
We examined packaging, smell, collar rib, hem and shoulder stitching, print edges, the tag and flat chest and length measurements, then wore it for over 20 hours and washed it cold.

Appreciate the 20plus hour wear test, thats what sold me. Got the black graphic one, print has a slight sheen but not cheap looking. Collar ribbing feels sturdy. Would order another color.
Rhude dark series tee is decent for the price. Measured my chest flat before ordering and glad I did. Only gripe is the sleeve length is a bit short for an oversized fit. Still a solid cop.
Not bad but the hem on mine came a bit uneven. Print detail is solid though, looks darker in person than on the site. Size up if you want that real baggy look, otherwise TTS is fine.
20+ hours wear and the collar still lays flat? Mine got a little wavy after a week but nothing crazy. Cotton feels heavier than I expected, kinda stiff at first but softened up. Def grab if ur into that vintage rhude vibe.
Yeah the oversized cut is no joke. I usually wear L but after seeing the flat measurements went with M and it still fits boxy. Print on the dark series tee held up after 3 washes, no cracking yet.
